Do you have visions of disastrous, chaotic, evil and destructive things happening? You are being shown these things for a reason?
Do you realize that God has given you a great responsibility to go before Him, pray and intercede, and come against these things to stop them by decreeing the Word of the Lord over them so they do not come to pass?
If you are just receiving them and doing nothing but sharing them, you are neglecting the most vital part of your gifting.
Let's look at scripture. Luke 1:76 says: "And you, child, shall be called the prophet of the Highest: for you shall go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways."
God is showing you the enemy's plans. You ARE NOT supposed to just sit back and do nothing. Nor are you supposed to be going around announcing (prophesying, yes prophesying!) all you have been shown.
Do you realize you have power in your tongue?
Do you realize that when you speak you give power to the enemy by agreeing with him?
Do you realize that you give power to the angels to assist you when you speak God's word?
Bless the Lord you His angels, mighty in strength who perform His word, obeying the voice of His word. Ps.103:20
You have the responsibility and authority to come against these events by making decrees against the enemy and the people he desires to use. You have been given the important task of pushing back darkness and establishing God's kingdom on this earth. Jesus has given you the keys of the Kingdom to bind and loose. He has given you the power to decree a thing and see it happen. The Lord does not favor destruction, pain and chaos. All these things come from the enemy.
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I (Jesus) came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
For this purpose the Son of God was revealed, so that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8
It's simple: Satan brings destruction, Jesus brings life. Whose kingdom are we walking in? Whose report are we believing? We are the ones who give the enemy power, by our mouth. We need to stop siding with the enemy with our mouth!
It is far easier to open our mouth and start spreading words of destruction than to go into our prayer closet and pray and do some warfare and bind the enemy from doing the things that we have seen in a vision or dream. Do you realize that when you go around announcing words of destruction (without teaching that we have ALL power over the enemy) that you are making the entire church (and yourself) look powerless against the enemy? Do you realize that when you speak of destruction, It looks like the enemy has gained control over God and His people and that he is getting away with it? This is not the truth when Jesus gave to us ALL power over the enemy, not just "some", but ALL.
"Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will hurt you. Luke 10:19
This is the reason why some unbelievers "do not believe", because believers are not walking in the power that Jesus died to give them. They do not see the evidence of the Kingdom of Heaven.
Dear Prophet/Seer, Life and Death is in the power of your tongue!! Prov 18:21 Choose to speak as Christ would speak…Speak Life!! We are to speak those things that are not….as though they were. Jesus came to bring us the Kingdom of Heaven, Jesus came to restore all that was lost through the fall when man agreed with Satan. Destruction came to everything related to man. Jesus though, overcame all the works of darkness for us, then gave to us the power to do the same. Now it is our time to stand up and use the authority Christ gave to us to take back all the enemy has stolen and has brought destruction to.
Make a note: If it does not look like Jesus, if it doesn't look Heaven, it does not belong to us!!
Jesus paid the price to restore all that Adam and Eve lost. Jesus brought to us the Kingdom of Heaven. He demonstrated it in ALL He said and did. He showed us how to bring the Kingdom as He did. We need to walk in it. We need to stop having a "form" of Godliness (speaking about the things of God) but denying the power He gave to us by not walking in it.
Just because you have seen destructive things, DOES NOT mean that they have to happen. Use the power Jesus died to give you!! Don't just stand back and let the enemy destroy people. That's just not okay, especially when you were warned by the Lord so you could take action to prevent it.
A good warrior will see what the enemy has planned and stop it, BEFORE it manifests in the natural.
Jer. 1:10 "See, I have appointed you this day over the nations and over the kingdoms, To pluck up and to break down, To destroy and to overthrow, To build and to plant."
2 Cor 10:4-6 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty in God for the tearing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ; and being in readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience will be made full.
