CURSED NATIONS?

Updated: Sep 7, 2021

Every time we look to someone else to help us instead of God...it is idolatry. Some nations are in a continuous cycle of reaping destruction. The poverty is caused by idolatry.

When we open the door to the enemy like this...we open the door to his destruction. The wages of sin.....is always death (destruction, poverty, sickness, disease, pestilence, etc.)

The only way out....is complete obedience to God. God will continue to allow the enemy to bring destruction until the people finally get so tired of it they cry out to Him with not half their heart....but their whole heart and turn from their idols.

Christian Leaders you need to stop looking to government for answers. This is idolatry.

Leaders need to be seeking God ONLY to meet their needs. ONLY GOD can bring change.

Leaders need to stop looking to America and other countries to help. This is idolatry.

Leaders need to stop looking to people to help them. This is again idolatry.

Until you give God your whole heart, seeking Him before everyone and everything else. Seeking Him as your first love....you will never know the blessings He has for you, the people or the land.

Scripture clearly says that trusting in man brings curses upon our lives, our families and our nation.

Jeremiah 17:5-8

Cursed is the one who trusts in man,

who draws strength from mere flesh

and whose heart turns away from the Lord.

That person will be like a bush in the wastelands;

they will not see prosperity when it comes.

They will dwell in the parched places of the desert,

in a salt land where no one lives.

But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,

whose confidence is in him.

They will be like a tree planted by the water

that sends out its roots by the stream.

It does not fear when heat comes;

its leaves are always green.

It has no worries in a year of drought

and never fails to bear fruit.”

Psalm 146:3

Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal man, who cannot save.

Isaiah 2:22

Do not put your trust in man, who has only the breath in his nostrils.
